The laboratory diagnostics centre to be built on the Santariškės Medical Campus in Vilnius will be an important step in the development of Lithuanian medicine and research. The centre will feature cutting-edge treatment technologies, such as advanced cell therapies and state-of-the-art blood component analysis systems. It will also include state-of-the-art research laboratories for biobanking and genetic research.
The centre’s infrastructure will include a biobank, a blood donation centre and a cell therapy centre, where research will be able to tackle the most complex medical problems. These units will carry out research to develop new, personalised treatments and advance biomedical knowledge.
Architecturally, the building will blend harmoniously into the context of the medical campus, forming a seamless infrastructure with the surrounding facilities. This integration will enable close collaboration between different medical and research institutions. In addition, the project focuses on efficient process management and improving working conditions for professionals, ensuring that the latest technologies are used to their maximum potential.
