A new training centre in Klaipėda is being designed as a multi-purpose building for vocational training, technical training and practical skills development. The main users will be divers, high-altitude climbers, lifeguards and other engineering professionals.

The building has a rational layout, with a clear internal structure – with classrooms, teaching laboratories, administrative and technical areas. Several entrances have been provided: separate entrances for visitors, staff and technical services. The internal spaces are designed to be flexible, accommodating both theoretical lectures and practical training sessions.

The main attraction of the property is professional training pool, 25 × 12 m, up to 4,5 m deep. It is designed for specialised diving, rescue and wave simulations (OPITO, GWO training). Provision is made for the installation of a wave generator. The pool is equipped with an advanced recirculation, filtration, UV disinfection and automatic dosing system. Load capacity of 75 users at a time is foreseen.

The architectural expression is modern, structurally clear. The volumes of the building are shaped in strict linear rhythms, and the facades are clad in durable materials – painted concrete, metal, glass. The emphasis is on natural lighting, visual contact with the outside and clarity of functional flows.

The site includes a car park, pedestrian walkways, technical accesses, waste management infrastructure and connections to the engineering networks. Green areas and functional links to the surrounding urban structures are foreseen.
